Self eSTEAM Challenge ’24 – The Grand Finale

• You were among those that did receive a Self eSTEAM kit?
  • Join the Maker Faire with your family and friends and meet the other peers that also built awesome boats. Show us your boat and let it perform in our huge outdoor pool. A surprise thank you is waiting for you as well!
• You did not yet build your own boat?
  • No worries, you can join us at our booth, pick a kit and start making… It will not take you too long to let it float… Amaze us!

Schedule:

Saturday, 18.05.2024 from 10:30 – 18:00

• Fix & finish —> At our makerspace you can find the most commonly used tool for tinkering your boat. If you get stuck, we can give you the necessary hints so that you can finish your project.
• Test & Improve —> You can try your boat in the huge outdoor pool. And do the necessary adjustments to pimp your boat.
• Show & Impress —> Show us your boat … and impress us. A special reward is waiting for you…

Sunday, 19.05.2024 from 10:00 – 17:00

10:00 – 13:00

• All boats shall be registered at our welcome desk by 12:00 (you can still fine-tune till 14:00)

13:00-14:00

• Deliberation of the Jury (behind closed doors)

14:00-14:45

• last chance to beat the record of the fastest boat

15:00 –  Award Ceremony

You can combine your stay at the Grand Finale by taking the time to discover the whole Maker Faire. The entrance is free, food and beverage is available on site.
